the kings armsThe Kings Arms, known by the locals as the KA is located in the centre of town by Whitestrand carpark. It offers and has great food and drink. It has an outside eating and drinking area, as well as the Whitestrand Bar, in an elevated position, overlooking the estuary. Captain FlintsCaptain Flints is another family favourite in the heart of Salcombe. A fun and informal restaurant it specialises in homemade crispy base pizza’s, burgers and pasta. It is brightly decorated inside with a pirate theme the kids will love the coloured pirate drinks; and adults will love the 5:30pm opening time. Please note though that reservations are not taken a this popular restaurant, so its on a first come first served basis, so be prepared to queue, but don't worry, it usually moves pretty quickly!
